Michelle Aduro is a 26-year-old Nigerian entrepreneur and operator whose work spans agriculture, technology, real estate, hospitality, and social impact. As Chief Operating Officer and Director of Aduro Holdings, she steers strategy and execution across a diversified portfolio of operating businesses and social initiatives. Her guiding principle is simple and consistent: build enterprises that endure, and ensure that growth serves both people and community.
This philosophy finds its clearest expression in Aduro Farms, where Michelle leads the development and scaling of a modern, sustainable agricultural enterprise. Under her leadership, poultry production has expanded from 8,000 to 20,000 birds, catfish farming has grown from 20,000 to over 100,000, and a cassava plantation has been developed with a clear pathway toward processing and large-scale distribution. The introduction of piggery and snail farming has further diversified operations, while a 50-acre plantain plantation represents the next phase of growth. Beyond primary production, she has strategically positioned the farm for processing and value addition, improving shelf life, strengthening market access, and increasing income opportunities across the agricultural value chain.
Michelle’s impact in agriculture and sustainability has earned both national and international recognition. She was nominated in the Agriculture and Sustainability category and invited to CEO Network Africa, a continental platform that spotlights emerging leaders driving responsible and sustainable business practices. She was also a finalist in the Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Awards (Agriculture Category), an international recognition celebrating bold women creating measurable impact in business and society.
Community development is deeply woven into her approach to agriculture. Through Aduro Farms, Michelle initiated the Aduro Farms Summer School, an educational program created for the children of farm workers. The initiative provides structured holiday learning focused on literacy, numeracy, and general knowledge, reinforcing the belief that sustainable agriculture must invest not only in land and output, but in people and future generations.
She has participated in global industry forums, conferences, and executive programs across the United States, UAE, Qatar, Singapore, and South Africa, experiences that have shaped her global outlook and strengthened her international business network.
Her academic and professional background underscores this breadth. Michelle holds a B.Eng. in Information & Communication Engineering from Covenant University, along with IBM certifications in Application Security and AI Analysis, and advanced executive training in Strategic Business Management and Global Leadership & Corporate Governance. She is currently pursuing executive education in Agribusiness at Lagos Business School (Pan-Atlantic University). Earlier roles in technology infrastructure at Huawei provided strong commercial and technical depth, informing her systems-driven approach to agricultural operations.
Michelle’s work is defined by measurable growth, sustainability, and a deep commitment to people. Through Aduro Farms, she is building an agricultural model where productivity, community welfare, and long-term environmental stewardship coexist — positioning her as a leading voice in Nigeria’s next generation of agribusiness leadership.
